About the position
BRAND MANAGER
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the brand manager will be responsible for crafting and executing effective brand strategies to increase market share and brand equity.
Job Responsibilities:
- Objectively assess marketplace and business conditions to develop recommendations that support the long-term strategic direction for the brand.
- Plan, implement, and execute successful consumer and trade marketing campaigns (including brand strategic planning, market positioning, pricing, promotions, advertising)
- Consumer communication strategy, planning and execution: Collaborate with creative, media, PR, promotions, activations, and packaging design agencies and build strong cross-functional partnerships.
- Develop the annual brand plan and trade marketing plan to achieve volume, market share and penetration targets.
- Provide effective customer and consumer promotional strategies that are relevant to the market. Collaborate with KAM's and Sales Ops Teams
- Prepare reports on campaign progress / effectiveness for business reviews to ensure proper measurement of marketing activities and strategic recommendations.
- Utilize category and consumer insights to identify growth opportunities and drive innovation in product development as well as marketing initiatives.
- Work closely with cross-functional innovation team to deliver strong innovation pipeline, (Sales, NPD, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance)
- Manage the brand budget.
Our ideal candidate must have:
- Bachelor's degree. Post graduate marketing qualification preferable.
- 2+ years brand / marketing experience within a branded FMCG company.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) and multi-tasking capabilities to manage projects within tight deadlines.
- Creative mindset, with the initiative to develop innovative ideas that support brand objectives.
- Organizational skills with capability to manage complex tasks whilst working under pressure.
- Analytical skills to interpret data accurately to make decisions that align with brand/business objectives.
- Strategic thinking skills - Capable of making informed decisions aligned with brand objectives.
- Proficient in MS Office.
